As of January 2010, Ataturk University's Distance Learning Application and Research Center will be managing its training and information sharing platform with the Kavrakoğlu eduGateV2 Distance Learning Management (LMS) system.

The Application and Research Center, which operates under the rectorship of Atatürk University, will begin its educational services by providing training and education to 14,000 persons within the Nursing Degree Completion Program (HELİTAM).  Registered Nurse (RN) graduates of the Training School of Nursing and Health will continue their education ın a 7x24 education platform conducted with the Kavrakoğlu eduGateV3 Distance Learning system. The program will consist of a 28 week-long, university degree completion program. In addition to asynchronic e-lessons, the training program also includes synchronous (simultaneous) e-examinations.
