Admission Criteria

To be considered for the KMI Executive EMBA, applicants:

  • Must have a university degree
  • Must have a minimum of three years work experience
Degree Requirements

To quality for the Executive MBA diploma, participants must complete a minimum of 38 credit-hours of course work, workshops and project work.

The online courses are categorized under three headings: core courses, specializations areas (minors), and electives.

  • There are 40 core courses in the program. The participant can choose a minimum of three courses from each core area under the supervision of the advisor, and must complete a minimum of 22 courses from the core courses.
  • Participants choose one of the specialization areas, taking a minimum of 5 courses.
  • Participants complete the course requirements by selecting from the list of elective courses, approved by the advisor.

Live sessions (virtual classes) are an integral part of the courses, as well as reading materials that accompany courses. Each course is worth 3/5 credit hours.

Participants take part in the Kick-off meeting (one full day), in addition to six full day workshops where cases are analyzed and problems are solved.

A Project is completed by each participant which involves solving an actual problem, making use of the knowledge gained throughout the program. Project work normally takes a minimum of 100 hours and counts as 4 credit-hours.

Requirements for Successful Completion:

Grading of the participants are made on a scale of 100 and a minimum of 80 points needs to be achieved for the successful completion of the program.  Minimum completion rate for e-courses is 90%, passing level for tests is 60, attendance to at least 4 workshops and 4 virtual classes is required.
